Well i had a crx with 4 points but where u rear strut bar would have went i welded a 2in by 1/4 in thick steel bar there then drilled my holes and worked fine but i had to cut the rear plastic and i dont want to do that this time. I know i could wrap it around a strut bar but most people die when the aluminium bends. i was thinking about having my buddy fabricate a strut bar doing the same type of thing but bolting it up to the towers like a strut bar..

dont want a cage cause i just bought this crx has almost flawless interior..anyone have pics? i know with neons, civic, integra's u can bolt them in the rear seat belts spots or pull the rear seat and they have a bar u can bolt on those holes but never anything for the crx.

But when you take out the stock belts, youre gonna have 2 exposed holes on both sides. I cant remember in my head exactly how high up the seatbelts mounts up, but if you have the skill to fabricate a piece that goes across there and just threads in the OEM holes and mount your belts to that? Remove it when/if you convert back to stock or get a cage

Ive got my 4 point Spearco's bolted to the stock location on the floor, works great, angle isnt straight down because Im not a stunna and my seat isnt all the way back, easily meets the 12* requirement

Cage is going in late february so its perfect for now, out of the way and doesnt take any room

 

yea i talked to my buddy we are going to fabricate up a bar so dow then road i can switch it out if i havento...yea i have a bad back so i have to sit stright up and down i hate doing the gangsta ride with ur arm all extended out and crap...
