Vaccum hose unplugged?
My 89 integra ls has the zc in it, but when i bought it and for some reason the vaccum hose going from the resonator diaphragm to the resonator control solenoid valve is unplugged and capped does anyone know why the guy that did the swap did this? When i plug it in the car dosent wanna stay running and i have to give it a lot of gas to keep it from dieing. Do u have to do it for the swap or what cause the car dosent run well at all (it misfires under about 3000 RPM) and im trying to figure out why.
im sorry for not being too useful on this one....cuz i haven't experienced anything with 89 model....
but as far as i know vacuum lines must have a destination, from location A to location B, if you any vacuum lines unplugged u should hook it back to where it suppose to be....if you know where...or referr to the manual...
yes, vacuum line does effect ur rpm...at where and when are random...
if you planned not to hook vacuum line back to where it supposes to be (which is not recommended) then at least block that line so it doesn't sux any air into Intake Manifold.....
hope this help u out little
