I have a 2000 GSR w/ JRSC on it with 6psi. Has run like a champ for 40,000 mi. and a little over two years. Only have had issues with bad fuel as to why it wouldn't start once. Now, my car cranks and won't start. Most recent additions to my car are ACT lightened 9lb. flywheel, ACT street performance clutch. Things I've checked:
fuses, main relay, fuel pump all appear good
fuel pressure: good I have a guage
spark: no spark
distributor connection: no power tested it with test light
things I've tried.....
fuel filter (thought it was clogged)
new coil
changed out ignitor
changed spark plugs
changed cap and rotor
speculation that it is my ECU. I washed my engine after the install of clutch/flywheel, then drove my car for approximately 800mi. and almost a month. One day I got it to start after excessive cranking. Right before that, tested for spark one last time with orignal distributor, unchanged components, and it fired up, drove it around, a total of 4 starting times that night. Started up normal on the first three times, then the 4th start same, just cranks but doesn't start. Checked for spark, no spark that time. What else could it be? Please help.
