I guess I should get some winter tires. Its been snowing for about 9 1/2 hours and still coming down. This is my ITR's first snow, I had to take a picture.

Well now, I never wish snow on others. Especially since it's hitting the lower Eastern seaboard of the states harder than the New England section like it should be. Those South Easterners just shut down and pray for warmth and sunshine.

I just mounted my Pilot Alpins and haven't seen hide nor hair of a snow flake. I would just rather have snow instead of extreme cold and nothing to show for it but a squishy ride to work everyday.

Bridgestone Blizzaks work great for me...but this will be THE LAST winter I ever drive the R. Beater car is the way to go for us northerners!

Sold the GTX yesterday, ...so, I drove the R to work today on worn 032Rs.
Luckily no snow here, till Sunday noght or so. ed

 

No Nos on the GT yet... the mechanical fuel injection does not take well to power mods...

I guess 4WD should be a bit faster than 2WD from a stop.
But the fact that you stopped pulling at 30mph (then I did a ricer fly-by) to pretend like you were driving miss. daisy.... reqired me to stop and wait all the time.

Nobody hit any ditches man.. I pulled my 2-wheel drive pickup off the road and parked it, cause it wouldn't go any further... walked home and got the 4-Runner.

Took me 2 hours to make a 30 min trip back home from work... but I stopped at the local grocery store that was empty & did some ebrake slides & some reverse donuts... fun!

My car is now stuck behind my parents house in the snow drifts I was trying to plow through. The snow is over my tires.
