Default b16 or gsr tranny

i was planning on getting a new transmission for my 96 gsr cuz the one that i bought with the car has a crack in the casing thats been welded shity and jb welded so yea i think it needs replacing. Anyways, i have my mind set for either a b16 tranny or a gsr, which would be better?

the B16 tranny has the same gearing as the ITR tranny without the LSD. So you will have shorter gear ratios for better acceleratin, with a loss of top end. The loss will be minimal.

it wont be a night and day difference coming from a gsr tranny..i would get whatever you can find a better deal on
