FS: 1990 BMW 525i Black/Black, 5spd $3000 *TENNESSEE*
I am forced to sell my baby. She's a 1990 BMW 525i. Black with black leather, 5spd.
Black Exterior
Black Leather interior
Manual Transmission
Power Headrests
Power Seats
Power Windows
Power Door Locks
Heated Seats
Digital Stats (temp, mpg, average mpg, timer and more)
M30 Inline 6 motor
Kenwood Z919 CD/MP3 Player (removed fact. amp)
The milage is 248k. It is in very good mechanical condition, especially for the milage. I have a stack of maintnence records/reciepts dating back to 80k miles, along with the original window sticker of $38,000 in 1990. This car was owned by a major BMW enthusiast before me, as he owns 2 other e34 525's as well. I, since I have owned it, have also done a recent tune-up and oil change which consisted of:
Bosche Platinum Spark plugs (recommended from BMW): $14
AutoLite Spark Plug Wires w/ lifetime warranty: $225
STP Oil Filter: $5
STP Air Filter: $12
Quaker State High-Milage Motor Oil, 20w40: $14
The car could use a complete coolant flush, as BMW recommends this yearly for their automobiles. I think Valvoline charges around $70 for it, but you can do it yourself for probably $20. I dont have time to do it myself, but I will try to get it done for you before its sold. Lots of mandatory OT at work this season :/
The interior is in great shape as well. There are a couple of spots on the back headrest where its breaking seam at the top due to sun, but easily fixable. This car has literally power EVERYTHING, from windows to power head-rests. Heated Seats.. and ALL OF IT WORKS!! The hood needs to be buffed badly, maybe even wetsanded.. its started to fade. My bodyshop man says he can fix it quick, but again I'm very hard pressed on making time to visit his shop right now. I'll also try to get that done before it's sold as well.
The title is clean and clear, no accidents or leins.
$3000 OBO or $3600 including mint 15" BBS rims w/ awesome winter tires.
I will post pics as soon as I can get some for you guys. If you want to check into the E34 BMW, you will learn they are arguably the most reliable 5-er BMW ever built. You can also check out recalls (if any), pictures of turbo'd/modded ones, and much more on:
