GUMMY SHIFTING
When I change gears the shifter seems a little more gummy; less smooth I guess. Could this be a condition from not changing trany fluid? I'm at 20k on the same fluid; when should I change it?
And on another side issue; what's the best way to get out ALL of the trany fluid? I know that some mechanics have machines that will "flush" out all of the old and replace with new fluid, but how can I do this at home? Any special tools needed?
Thanks for your help.

Honda MTF is your friend...
A complete flush would require the tranny to be tore down.
Just flush with the 2.2-2.3 qts and you will be fine.
Easy flush at home (just like changing the oil... w/o the filter)...No special t00ls needed.
FYI.. the cold weather has a lot to do with the shifting stiffness.
