thanx for the reply man, the guy who had my car b4 me had a diff. motor in it with hayame cam gears, and he said they were pretty good, i can get the golden eagle and darkside, and the hks pretty cheap, same with aem, but as we all know cheap isnt whut makes a motor, u pay for whut u get
I like my STR gears, once you get the hang of the degree system they use it's very easy to set, and 5 actual bolts, not some easy to strip allen head cap screws. I got mine from http://www.inlinefour.com a while ago.
i use crower cam gears. they have ARP locking bolts NOT allen key heads like you find on AEM or skunk gears which will probably strip out.......also they torque down nice and wont slip.....

I have used just about every set of gears there on various motors. My favorites have been the HKS and the STR the befits are the same but the way they are achieved is very different.
The HKS uses stock Honda gears with the centers machined to accept a aluminum adjustable center section. Very nice gears but also very expensive.
STR makes probably what I think to be the best all aluminum completely aftermarket gear out there. They use a special process to make there gears that makes them much more accurate than a CNC gear from other companies. After taking a tour of there plant and talking to Scott in detail about STR gears and how they are made I do not think that I will every put another set of gears on any of my motors. Plus that bronze color is just plain out awesome looking.

You cant get a better hold than the ST Corsa gears with their shoulder lock design. They will never slip.
I had a set of Skunk2 gears and the allen keys started to strip.
