What's wrong with my car?
For the past few months, every so often my car would take a while to start. IT would turn over for a second. Sometimes wouldnt turn over and just make a clicking sound. But last night, it wouldnt start. Just click. So I tried to jump it, but it didnt work. Is it my battery? The lights and radio still worked. BUt we jumped it again a few hours later and worked. My friends think it may be the starter. What do u guys think?

Yep. And if your in a pinch and your car wont start hit the starter with a stick or something while someone tries to start it. Should get one or two good starts out of it before it completely ***** the bed on you Plus theres always the infamous push start

Well a bad alternator will drain the battery faster, so it could be possible that's why your battery is dead... I'd say replace the battery first, then if the new battery dies you've got something else going on... Just make sure the battery you purchase has some kind of warranty...
The cost and time of changing a battery < the cost and time of changing an alternator...

bad guess but a good possibility.....get ur starter to Kragen or Auto and check or self-check
unhook NEGATIVE(black) from main battery....on the starter, look for a jump or connector that goes from the batter to ur starter....then unhook it....chekc the connector...if any dirt or dust or ruste ...brush them off.....get sandpapers or anything that can renew the metal to make it conduct better than do it....and hook it back in....
*CHECK ALL OTHERS GROUND WIRES....damage or rust....replace them...ground wires are very vital to the motor too

Same exact thing happened to me it is for sure your distributor! Its not to much to get fixed. Cost me about 150 all you need basically is a new ignitor and it should work perfectly!
