Default Exedy organic vs clutchNet stage 2

ok ive done the searches, heard many good things on both these clutches but still am undecided.

i plan on running the max-rev turbo kit @ 6-7 psi, i drive my car daily so i want a liveable clutch.

the big plus about the Exedy is the price, $269 from clutchcityonline.com complete w/ tob and pb and alingment tool.

i can get the clutchnet stage 2 from ben@importparts.com for $300 but it doesnt come w/ the pb or tob which will put it closer to the $400 range. although i feel the clutchNet might be a better choice.

tell me what you guys think

if all your gonna do is drive it daily with minor beating, then get the Exedy. I think that one is the full face one right? The 6-puck might be a little more than you're used to. I would go with the clutchnet myslef, but it's not my car to make the decision for.

I am buying the CN stage 2 from Ben and he sold me the bearing kit for $55. So just FYI, the entire CN package would be $355. The only negatives I have ever heard about the CN is that the clutch will engage at the top of the pedal as opposed to near the middle like the stock one, but then again this can be adjusted.

ya i know the cn would be about $375 shipped.

the 6 puk is sprung hub so it's liveable.
guess i might have to see how empty the piggy bank is or just flip a quarter.

btw does anyone kow how light the pedal is on the Exedy? i know the cn is very light, thats a major concern for me,light pedal.

I would go with a clutchnet stage 2, because I have it and love it. It isn't hard to drive after a week of getting used to it.

i currently have the exedy organic,

and the pedal feel is nearly identicle to stock it grabs a little before middle and you are still able to feather it.

it has excellent holding power
i have been spraying n2o ranging from a 50-80 shot for about 30k my car now has 60k and not a single problem or sign of slipage

so i would recommend a exedy you cant go wrong with a brand new clutch from japan

I have the exedy cerametallic in my nitrous'd prelude and as of right now it is going out, I have to baby it to go anywhere and I have had it on for less than 7 months! I paid $450 for that thing! I think I am going to try a different brand this time!

Someone told me how before, but I can't remember, how do you adjust the clutchnet? I am now pretty used to it engaging at the top, but I would still rather have it toward the middle.

Pedal feel for the exedy is like stock. It is great, no slips or anything, about 5k on it know, but that is not a great deal of miles either.

its very easy, you have to crawl under your dash and loosen the 12mm nut on the lutch master cylinder push rod.turn it to adjust it (dont know which way but youll figure it out) take it for a test run and keep adjustin it to your taste. dont adjust it too much cause just couple turns makes a world of diffence.

Would the ClutchNet Stagve 2 be sufficient boosting 1 bar? What would be better? CM, ACT, ect?

I believe the CN stage 2 is good up to 300hp.

My only complaint about the clutchnet stage 2 is the squeaking that it makes when getting into first gear.

its next to your brake fluid reservior, but you adjust it inside the cabin. its attached to YOUR CLUTCH PEDAL.
