What kind of lock do u guys use to protect your teg?
The autolock pro is pretty good i use it,but you need alot more than just that,a good thief will get threw it,try the Multi lock. Its a solid steel lock welded to the chassis of the vehicle, and it locks the car in gear.5th or reverse, your choice. As well as a pistal, alarm, ect!!!!!

any 1 seen that new do dad in the super street magazine or turbo mag that connects to your starter. You have to pass a "magic wand" in front of a sensor which allows the starter to turn and if you remove it your starter wont start. I just looked and cant find it....anywho a pretty good alarm and some common sense can go a long way..

I use a Skunk
Really though. My car is in a garage every night. And I'm right upstairs.
If anything happens, well, I show them my friend......
Seeing as how honda foolishly routed the hood release cable, you all should be saying: "Hood Lock". It is illegal in most every state to use deadly force to defend property. If you do, and hurt someone you will make a *great* case for a personal injury lawyer who will try to go after you and your home insurance company.

I would have to agree with brinks. A hood lock would be best. I use the autolock too with my alarm. But I think the best way to protect your car is to avoid parking it in places where you think it has a chance of getting jacked. Cuz if they really want your car, they'll take either way....

There won't be a case for personal injury, but there will be a case of self defense. I don't miss, and there's lots of stuff in my house he could allegdly use as a weapon, not to mention he knowingly broke into my home.
I hate thiefs, and yes, I think they get what they deserve.
It would be foolish and illegal to shoot to kill over property, however if someone was to confront me in such an attack, I would not hesitate to use a weapon in self-defence. ALso I think most people trying to steal your car would be detered if you fired a few blanks their way

I agree, but as a law student I will offer you some good pre-break-in legal advice, do a little research on how courts in your state have reacted when intruders were shot after breaking into a home or trying to steal a car. You wouldnt want to put yourself in a situation thinking the law on the books says one thing, where courts have interpreted it in different ways. For example, a court might hold you partially liable for the intruder's injuries. I guarante if you shoot somebody lawyers will come after you and your ins. co, so be sure that if you do use deadly force, you are 100% in the right.

Brinks - You'll get no arguement from me. Good thing my next door neighbor is a officer. We've discussed this many times, and he's told me all about how the law works in our state.
I hope to GOD I never, ever, have to shoot anyone for ANY reason.

I have a club..but yeah i kno they can just cut the steering wheel... i also have an alarm with tilt, proximity and shock/impact sensors.. in addition it pages me with what sensor was tripped (ie.. door, trunk, etc..) and it has cut off of starter, fuel pump and ignition... you should also get a hood lock and battery back up..you can disable your power door lock switch if you have keyless entry/alarm.. and you can also remove the rods that move the lock tab since you have keyless and you dont need to be moving the tab (asuming you have power door locks)
when im home my car is parked in the garage and alarm auto arms and locks doors, plus my house/garage has an alarm.. so i think its pretty secure when im home.. i get worried that it might get jacked when im at work though.. i try parking in well lit areas, dont leave anything valueable in sight, and my alarm autoarms and locks doors so its always armed/locked.. not much you can do.. if they REALLY want it.. its theirs.. all these things just take more time for them to take it so hopefully they'll move on to an easier target..
