did you get those wheels from a guy in SD named Rod? Well, anyways... how does the car look in person w/ the black lip. In the pic it looks like half of your bumper is missing.

 

yeah, i told him to blur out the plate but u really cant tell what it say's The wheels? naw, we got them form someone in OC.. anyways...And yeah, the black lip looks good in person...

i dont dispise the grill... its cool.. but then i dont know about the black moldings on a car that light....
im not saying anything negative cause my CRX is A POS

 

Why? Anyone on the road or any parking lot can get my license plate and they are closer to where my car is.

 

paint the grill, lip, sideskirts, moldings, door handles and the mirrors and it would look 100% nicer. unless its carbon fiber (and real stuff, not fake stuff) it should be painted to match the car not leave it unpainted to "contrast" cause i think it looks like **** and makes the car look cheap...only real carbon fiber can go accepted as unpainted IMO.

 

It has the black moldings on the side. that usually imply's a DX model EK. Am I right or did he paint them black? Did he do a swap? I used to have a DX EK coupe and the engine was seriously not fun. Good looking right now. Tell him to leave it the way it is, and do some performance work to it. Just my opinion.

 

thanks bro...yes its a DX...and as far as the painting, we are going to leave the bottom moldings black but paint the handles, door moldings, and the rear license plate piece..But as far as it looks now..I kinda like it...it makes me think maybe we should get the j-spec front and rear bumpers with the moldings wrapped around..And yes, we have the performance work planned..we are just normal working stiffs and cash doesnt come along as fast as the stuff we plan! hehehe and yeah, the whole theme of the car is contrast..hence the gunmetal sparco's and the black plastic...peace!

 

I have to agree that the grill is a bit on the ugly side..
And the headlights are suspect..
other than that.. i like the rims..and the lip
looks mean
