91 accord, no spark
welp the daily driver left me stranded tonight
i was driving about 40 and it just lost power, i stabbed the accelerator and it jumped back to life, then 20 feet later did the same thing and wouldnt turn back on.
no spark tested directly off a plug wire onto the heat shield bolt. nothing. in the dark on the side of the road i swapped igniters from another honda, still no spark.
any suggestions on where to look next? i dont own a helms anymore or i would just troubleshoot it.

just igniter, the notorious honda problem.
cap and rotor looked decent, nothing out of the ordinary so i left them on there.
is the rotor a press on/off? because there was no little screw on it.

yeah its a press off, but its a ******* bitch to get off, a big screwdriver should do it tho. Im tellin ya, try the rotor and cap...
the way we determined if the ignitor was good was this drunk guy from across the street volunteered to hold a screwdriver up to the ignitor and let me crank the car...needless to say, the ignitor was fine, lol...he...was shaken up but fine.
