I may have to get a header in the fashion of a DC JDM 4-1 on a stock ride height DA Integra. I absolutely do not want this header to be hitting things and denting, as that would really screw up my chi.

How many DA owners have a JDM header with stock ride height? Any issues to speak of? If there is too much of a problem, be honest about it. This will affect my decision.

And yes, I searched all day long- nothing regarding stock ride height DA's at all.

 

i have a jdm itr 4-1 header in my DA
my car is lower a good amount and i have no problems
but the jdsm itr doesn't hang close to as low as a jdm dc head
its also a bitch to install a 4-1 header in a DA
you have to smash the crossmember in to clear the header or you can buy a after market crossmember like place racing
the jdm itr header also does not clear the ls/b16 oil pan so i had to get a p72 gsr/itr oil pan which also lowers the oil storage from 4.5 quarts to 4 quarts because the p72 oil pan is smaller in ordewr to clear the 4-1 header
less oil also means hoter oil

 

I beleive the issue you have on your oil pan is due to your integra being a 91. I hear 92+ oil pans dont have the clearance issues.

I have a '92 pan and my JDM ITR 4-1 did not clear it.

 

That settles it.

Thanks for the help everyone, but Im NOT going to go with a JDM 4-1. It has too many little problems on DA's.
