I am attempting r&r clutch, have all the books, still can't seperate more than1/2 @ the bottom of bellhousing, must have missed something or secert i'm not aware
of... please help if you can Sleepless in Seattle............. thanx, eltweedy

 

All the shift linkages are out? How about the axles? An did you remember the tranny mount that is conected to the crossmember. If you did all this and is still only pulls out 1/2 inch, remember that you have to pull the tranny straight out, sometimes it is hard to get off, but it will come with some work---(pulling)
