Default starter, high compression b18

hey my buddies and i just finished building a non vtec b18. i have ctr pistons and we figure i am runnin about 12.4:1 compression. does anyone know if the factory starter will have to much trouble cranking this motor over day after day.

The starter should work just fine with that setup. We still use the OEM starter on all the drag Honda's at the shop.

cool thanks another quick question. the motor wouldnt turn over when i tried to fire it up for the first time. we think there is a ground or two missing like from the motor to the frame. any ideas. and yes the battery is charged.

Are you sure that you have proper piston to valve clearance? Is the starter you are using in good working condition? Could be any number of mundane to serious reasons why it is not turning over.
