Does anybody have any ideas to make my speedo work? Of course the stock speedo is cable while the H22 is electronic. Could I swap to a gs-r or itr cluster and make it work that way?

h22 is electronic VSS, like any b-series swap

you need to use a electronic speedo cluster from a 99-00 civic, or an integra one, or something like that

Just disreguard the cable to electronic sensor changover and just look at the cluster stuff. My brother did a 99 Civic EX Manual cluster in his 90 DX w/ B16... looks and works awesome.

 

you can do 2 thing to get this to work.

you have to pull what's left of the EVSS out of the H22 tranny, and you will need the little gear off the H22 one ( held in with a small clip) remove your D-series gear off you cable and install the replacment H22 one. install as usual.

OR

buy a new Cluster with EVSS (like a Type-R) and do a Cluster swap with a EVSS... it will need a little wiring but nothing major.

your both forgetting an sir cluster, has EVSS, but yea i used and EK 98 EX Sedan 5 speed cluster, works fine, looks clean, and the speedo worked with my electronic vss from the XSI b16 swap.

you need either an SiR cluster, or a 92+ to make it work. good luck!

i just said Type-R because I have a DC2 cluster in my hatch waiting to get installed in my CRX.
