b16a(SIR2) engine

Is the JDM B16a streetlegal in the states? I'm planning on doing an engine swap. Thanks guys.

they are legal as long as they pass emissions test. not sure exactly what needs to be done to do that though

will it pass emissions right away or do I have to do modifications?

does your state require emission testing? if not you shouldn't have to worry about it.

it depends on the car its going in and what state you live in.
