3k cutout
ok i swapped a d16a6 in my 88 dx hatch and ordered a harness for the dpfi to mpfi got it all together and started it up and now i cant rev over 3k and im getting a cel#4 anyone have any idea's or similar things happen...also i changed the dizzy and reset the ecu and started it same thing cel#4 and 3k cutout some please help........
It means you're in limp mode, never a good thing.


Which translates probably if you changed the distributor already is that your wiring is wrong. Lesson learned, do wiring yourself

ok i havent got around to checking anything yet ive been busy but im sure the wiring is messed up does anyone have a clue where i can get all the instructions on the wiring so i can redo it????
ok thanks for all the help i got it fixed finally after six months:D the 2 crank angle sensor wires wasnt even hooked to my ecu dumb mistake by me....thanks a bunch everyone...........

i was just going to say crank angle sensor. if its broken or not hooked up the car will never no matter what go past 3k

i had the same problem, the person before me did a mpfi swap and fucked the wires up so i ran separate wires right from the dizzy to the ecu and bingo
