Default Upgrade valve springs/retainer w/ a turbo cam?? D16

Was looking to get a turbo grind cam for my d16z6, just wondering if I needed to upgrade the springs and retainers with that, or if the factory valvetrain is ok. Also, what kinda gains have you guys seen by adding the cam??? Thanks

I would highly suggest upgrading valvetrain when running turbo cams. A turbo cam has the greatest amount of lift possible without having much overlap. This lift is what is going to make you float or drop a valve. Basically it's cheap insurance.
