Default GSR for the Rex

I own a 92 civic Hatch right now. I am looking into buying a CRX again. I want to take the GSR out of my hatch and put in the rex but I have some questions.
1. should I use the Hasport mounts or stock mounts cause I heard the stock mounts sit it at a odd angle and rips axles out if so then I am going hasport.
2. someone told me that my hood wont shut cause of the block and head height are to tall. can I fixs this problem buy taking then inter skeelton out of the hood.

That is all my questions thanks for all the help

1) Stock mounts will not bolt up to the CRX Frame. What allows this to work in the 5th Gen and 6th Generation chassis is the fact that they shared the same platform as the DC and DC2. We though are the odd man out so you must you some type of aftermarket mount (Hasport being a personal favorite) or fab your own.

2) You will have to trim a little of the underhood skeleton or place washers in the mounts to move the motor slightly down but in cost of precious road clearance. It is up to you.

You need to convert the car to OBD-1 specs, which means you are going to need a conversion harness. If you aren't tech savy enough to make your own, I recommend purchasing one from Blown90Hatch.

Instead of trimming the hood couldn't you get one of those usdm SiR hoods?
