Gas pedal hard to press?

I just bought a used 2002 Accord EX V6 and the gas pedal seems harder to press down than any other cars I have driven, is this normal?

If you mean it sticks at first then releasess then its your throttle body plate that needs cleaned. If its hard all the time then you may want to try and lube the cable it self.

check your floormats, they might be hindering the movement...this happened on my civic when I had two sets of floormats down...just check it y0
