F22B1 from 94-97 or F23 and Boost the hell out of it. Or H23 and Boost it too.

F20B - no torque but revs high, EDM Accord . Same price as H22 almost.

H23A - JDM Vtec motor, somewhat hard to find. Same price as H22 almost.

F23A1,4 - 6th gen USDM accords (usually around $200-$500) do not buy the A5.

F22B1 - your motor, only .1L smaller than F23. Good for turbo as well.

IMO, don't turbo whatever you get just cuz that seems to be the fad now. Think of something different. Me, N/A F23 + direct port.

that's what people said about H22 swaps a 2 yrs ago. the truth is F series turbos have proven to be fairly reliable and make more power than h22 swaps and N/A built F series for less money.

not to mention... when did spraying become something that was not a fad... did we all not watch the move that showed every fad in the import industry?

a K24 would cost more than his car is worth and then the install isn't as easy installing an F or H series.

imo, save your money and buy a better / faster car.

me = former h22 accord owner and now WRX owner

For the price of having mounts made for K24, he could buy a complete F23.

Ok, since you call your car a CB7, I'm assuming you know what engine you have... F22A (1, 4, or 6 depending on year and model). Just to clear that up... it's not the F22B1 (which is, IMO, a much worse engine than the F22A)

So, you want a decent swap, eh? If I didn't go H22A in my car, I would probably get an F22B DOHC and boost it. The F22B DOHC is pretty much the same as the H23 (just .1L smaller). 160hp and admirable torque. You can find a decent one for about $800 or so, and it bolts right in. I believe this engine is better than the H23 because any USDM H23 you find will probably have high mileage. I've never come across a JDM H23 for sale. JDM engines (supposedly) have lower mileage, and have been treated better (face it, Americans beat their cars!) A turbo setup would get you well over the power of the H22, and it would probably cost you less than $2500 to build a decent system... which can be accumulated over time.

Of course, you can make some nice power just by boosting the stock F22A that you have. I know guys that are still taking it easy on their new systems putting 220+ to the wheels!

There is no such H23 non-vtec JDM engine.

well im not really sure wat to do.. because my homie said he can get me a hook up on a jdm h22 for 1000 with installation.. but i also kno i can get a very nice hook up on turbo.. so wat would ur opinion be about the NA or boost? like which would have more power? and as for the k24 swap... thats way outa my league.. because i dont have much money, being only 16 and all...

Deever, why do you think the 22a is better than the 22b1. (I've owned both)

I like the idea of dropping in a 6th gen motor into my CB7. (I'm cheap) Is that a trouble free swap? any issues?
