first time removing the tranny, got a question...

Default first time removing the tranny, got a question...

in a week im about to remove my tranny and i was wondering if its better use a air gun or first crack them with a torque wrench/breaker bar??

i just dont wanna strip any bolts.

ive done it both ways. i would use the air gun to break em loose. then hand tools to take em out.

Never ever use a torque wrench to break bolts loose. If you have access to an air gun, makes it infinitely easier....lucky bastard.

dont loosen with a torque gun, it can throw off the calibration. ****, if u got the air tools, use them. when putting the tranny back on, id probably use a torque wrench.
