so you plan on using pistons with floating pins and a press fit rod? Hope you plan on adding a bushing. Others have done similar stuff to this and it has proven to make power...200whp is a little out of reach with that setup however

why do you think its reachable? h22's barely make 200 whp with cams/I/H/E, plus the h23 has a lower redline. Im using h23 crank and rods and type s pistons in a h22 application and Im gonna be lucky to get 200 whp although I will be using stock cams. Besides, an h23 isn't made to get the big HP numbers, it's the fat torque curve you are after. Oh and by the way, 4 cyl engines on have 1 exhaust manifold.

people these days have no faith. stop trying to say no its not gonna happen or blah this, blah that. you never know different builders and different engines are capable of different things.

If an allmotor LS and B20 can make 200+ whp than why cant an allmotor H23 make 200 whp? He may need a lil more sggresive setup but it is still possible!

if you cant reach 200 whp in a h22 all motor shoot yourself now...its all about tuning, and the right parts theres h23's making over 160 whp on just stage 1's with crappy header, cheap intake and i believe stock exhaust it was....no bump in compression or anything which stock is a very lower 9.8:1, no ima gonna be running either 11.1:1 or 11.7:1 thats almost 2:1 compression gain..... just wait and see

What makes or brakes this setup is going to be the header used and head work along with tuning which is real crucial.

The guys making all motor ls's have top of the line headwork with like 12:1 or maybe a little higher comp.

well im going to be running custom 4-1 rage header, and some nice cams, lots of head work and close to 12:1 compression..
