I'm posting this for a guy I just met. They stole his R, including JDM Red Recaros. They found the car two days later stripped. Another sad day......so heartbreaking. Why can't people just buy their own? There are enough for sale these days. If you know anyone selling ITR or JDM stuff in Miami, please let me deliver a message.

nope, just talked to him yesterday...he was planning to go to the meet too, but his R got stolen Replacement - IS300

 

he sold his hatch...bought an is300. That was his wife's type r. It was parked right outside of their front window...gone the next morning.

GOOD NEWS!! 98 Type R 107 has been found!! - The motor was found in the back of a pick up truck and they caught the mother *******!! Insurance is paying for everything and the car should be rebuilt within a month. He's probably going to catch a ride to the Florida meet with John - 560 whp Type R The motor was found with no axles though, no power ****. The dash completely ripped out and cracked. They tried to pry the front bumper off with a knife or screw driver and scratched it a bit, but other than that, the car is cosmetically sound. Wing still intact, Rims/wheels still there. Hopefully this R will be saved and REBORN!!

 

This is what I don't get, obviously the itr is being stolen for parts, but where the **** are all the parts going? These thieves are such scumbags, it's ridiculous. Seems like they are never caught in the act, or caught ever, period. My idea is that most of the itr thefts are flatbed tow aways, but who knows. You'd think that the FBI or some gov't agency would set up some sort of sting to start knocking some of this bullshit down. It really pisses me off that these lowlifes can't get jobs and buy these items themselves. I hope they all die.
