Default dammit broke my lock

hey i know this has been posted, and that i need to take of the door panels, i'm just wondering, what am i looking for????

i dont have power locks from the factory, but i have an alarm so wheni alarm the car it locks . but i usually lock the passenger side before i get out of the car anyways , so i go to lock the passenger side and apparently i pushed too hard because it locked but then it wouldnt unlock, the plastic piece looks fine its not shattered, just very loose and wiggles all over when i touch it so i think i just unhooked something or took it off a rail or latch

vexed

There will be a rod coming from the latch side of the door (away from the hinges) and you will be able to see it going up towards the door handle.

take out any screws that may be holding the door in and then it's all push-ins holding the door panel onto the door. you can just get a screwdriver and put it behind the door panel and pop it away from the inner door. hope this is what you were asking about.

and yea it's probably just one of the rods came undone from the plastic connector.

anyone have any suggestions on how to put the door panels back because whenever i take them off, they never go back on the same they always end up looking like crap and i can never figure it out

yea, get new plastic push ins. After being taken out a few times they tend to get trashed and not hold flush with the door
