I am going to swap a d16y8 vtec head onto my d15b7 block from a 92 lx. I know I need the solenoid and the p28 ecu to match with it. My question is which timing belt and head gasket do I need? Also, will my old distributor work with the vtec head? I have searched all over for this info, but found nothing for my situation. Any help would be good, thanx.

I agree, it has been covered a million times. But, i cant find any thread that is for my situation. Most of it is for y7 block and y8 head. I just want to make sure that I have everything right before I start doing this. I have seen the great writeup
