Hatch Owners please read this...
Well i have about 4-5 thousand dollars to spend on a hatchback....
im willing to buy any year between 92-00. I really want 6th gen but will accept 5th. The questions
how much did you buy your hatch for and how many miles did it have?
If i buy a car with 100-150 thousand miles for about 2 to 3 thousand dollars will it last me a year or two on that same motor before i do a swap?
How much does it cost to rebuild a stock DX or CX motor for instance... because i might want to rebuild it for longer usage and possible resell....?
Thanks in advance guys....

i have four to five thousand and im pretty sure yours isnt at that price... and if so thas cool. but not for me. the Shell idea is good but i dont have the time or space or knowledge to build from the shell up. I live in NYC its hard to swap and build on the sidewalk. or on my very hill-like driveway
:edit: as a matter of fact i think its illegal to do a swap or work on your car in NYC streets without a permit... i know its crazy but its true.

buddy of mine bought a 92' cx for $2500 last summer and i bought my 99" hatch a year ago with 80k miles for $5000, it was in hella good condition. you just gotta look. I'd say you spend a little more on a car thats in good condition all around so you don't have to waste money in restoring the damn thing
