Bike ITB's - Question about throttle pedal travel
I have a question for the people who are using motorcycle throttle bodies. I have a setup from a CBR600F4i. I made a bracket to mount the stock throttle cable to the throttle bodies. The problem is that I only have about 2.5 inches of pedal travel, approximately 1/2 of stock. I can't see a good way to adapt a larger wheel to the throttle bodies to increase the travel of the cable at that end, so I'm thinking about relocating the connection on the pedal to a point closer to the pivot.
Anybody have a creative solution, or are you just living with the reduced pedal travel?
FWIW, this setup is on an old school (86) Civic autocross car.
Thanks - Chris

im working on finding a larger throttle rotor so it will be more linear (sp?) and at the same time will take up more pedal
i would just make sure the trhottle stop is in good shape ....i dotn notice me hitting mine any more ..you get used to it
