^^ i just bought one, dc sports.. my shift **** came polished silver... i dont like it, i wanna paint it black , but do i sand it , or should i just paint over it with a spray can?

 

its basically impossible, only about 30 people in the United States can install them........

and they have to paint them too

 

riiiiiiiight... your a funny guy...

 

its a really simple install if thats what you are asking..

there is a bolt that holds your shift links to the shifter, take that out and drop your shift links.
then there should be 2 12mm bolts holding the stock shifter in, remove those and install your new shifter.

you should give it a lite sanding before you paint over your shift **** yes

 

im pretty sure a trained monkey can install a short shifter

yea but that was a secret, i didnt want the 04's members to find out and try to kill my monkey

 

its an easy install. it took me less than 30 minutes to install a shortshifter

 

just whack the **** outta it so falls out, spray the **** outtta shifter then duct tape... mad jdm rice yo! jk its not hard

 

whack the shitt outta it until it falls out, spray it pink, duct tape it and it will be mad jdm rice, also you need a 1/4 exhaust then a 7 inch muffler for +40 hp....jk its not hard, if its ur frst time bout 30 mins with the right tools

 

installed! feels great, when i first put it on, i felt it, it was really hard to get in gear, so i slapped on some grease, feels awesome! it was really simple too!

no man its not that hard at all it also depends on the SS you have..heres a really good write up on a SS install with a B&M short shifter
