Opinion for sellng a car
I'm selling a 2002 Honda Accord SE coupe in nighthawk black for $16,000 that has 18,000 in very good condition. The Kelley Blue book and at Cars.com says this is in value for almost $600 more. Is this reasonable?
sell it for what its worth to you.forget what kbb says, never take a loss and if u can pull over a few grand on what u have in to it, thats for the best. ive bought quite a few cars and i almost never pay book, but u may find someone willing to if ur car is very clean. good luck
is that blue book price sed car retail or private sale? you will never get the money a used car dealer can sell it for unless you find a complete idiot. i say look what trade in value is and add about $2K, that's what you actually expect people to offer.
newer KBB books will have private party sale value, along with trae-in and retail sale value. Post it for the private party sale value and work from there....just remember to be patient, and post it with plenty of pics.
also post it on autotrader.com if it hasn't sold on HT in a couple weeks, and chances are it won't....cars over $5000 don't sell quickly on HT
