Default Covering O2 sensor hole

My O2 sensor does not reach the spot on my downpipe.

What should I cover this with?

Bolt, cap....

It depends. Do you have a welder, or do you know someone who does. I would weld up a plug for it...

If not, i would not mind screwing in a bolt provided that you have enough wall thickness to tread it properly...

Here you go man...

This is better than welding it up because you can use a wideband if you need to

You could also just extend the wires on your O2 sensor to reach. A soldering iron, some wire, and a few minutes of your time and the O2 will reach...

Heh, reminds me of when I was installing my header for the first time. I was doing it at a friends house, and it was getting pretty late, and we could not get the o2 sensor out of the stock exhaust manifold, no matter what we tried. I didn't have any of those special types of bolts... so I wrapped a shirt around the exhaust pipe to cover the o2 sensor bung. Pretty ghetto, but it worked for the 2 mile ride home.

But damn, that **** was still pretty loud, but the shirt helped muffle it a little bit.

get it spliced with longer right gauge wires, i used 22g wiring for the extension.

I wouldn't do that, wouldn't you run pig rich, or am I just imagining things?

Yeah, it would definitely throw a CEL. Just sounds like a temporary solution before he gets the o2 sensor extension or just extends the wires himself.

Yeah I say extend the wires, only way you're ever gonna run right and you're just gonna have to bore another hole somewhere else.
