Default AEM V2 Cold Air installation problem

I have a GSR swap in my 94 civic and the GSR v2 cold air pipe is too big to fit down my intake hole beside the tranny, has anyone else had this problem did they just make the whole bigger using a drill bit or something. Also it came with some A/c brackets and parts, my A/C is removed, if I dont use the tranny mount and the other parts would I not gain full power from the system??

AEM provides a new tranny mount bracket to give clearance. Not sure how well its still going to fit with a swap though.

I pretty sure it won't work for the swap
