The Big-*** (Ok, Medium) size rims can't adjust all the way out as say a smaller rim would. If you have your steelies laying around try switching those over and see what happens.

ya, you should probably try a smaller wheel, 16 inch wheels are big enough on a crx

ya, I think you should ditch the rims, do with some nice 16s or 15s (I like 14s myself, nice and cheap)......

try springs instead of coilovers, and smaller rims.

I apologize for the thread hijack, but speaking of 14's, what offset would you use on a 14x6 wheel? (or 13x7! nice!)

I like these a lot, and they're reasonably priced.

My suggestion is to take the car to someone with experience to do a lowered car. If you align the car with 17" wheels then the alignment will be set for the 17"s.

If you align the car with steelies and then put 17" tires on it then you will throw your alignment slightly off.

Too bad your not in MIA or else I would have told you where to go to get a perfect alignment.

LMAO My car has 17s. Without fender beading, I only clear with it cambered out a few degrees. no long road trips for me, but its not the kinda camber job that everyone sees your car and says "daaamn thats whack" lol its not a visible offset but yeah 17's do NOT fit well, think about getting 16's, that's what i'm going to have to do if i want to go to N11 with it. (i get about 5000 miles to a set of tires)

I highly recommend,

5 Star Frame & Alignment
2664 N.E. 189th Street
N.Miami Beach, FL 33180
Tel: 305-937-4523 / 305-937-4608
Speak to Danny
The only bad part about them is that they do not open on the weekends, only M-F 8-5.

They just did the alignment on my Z3, where the dealer failed 3 times. I will send my CRX to them soon when I get some $$.

Very nice people.

About how much did it run you for the Z3 and what did you do it that the dealer couldn't get all nice and square?

Sorry for the thread jack.

The thing with BMW is that everything costs more.

But if they quoted me based on the fact that my car is lowered and they told me $250 for all Honda.

They will get the frame straighten, if you have camber kits then it will be much cheaper.

Just give danny a call and he will let you know.
