Default Window smashed...

I have a 96 accord coupe and I swapped an H22 into it, I couldn't handle the wiring myself so I took it to a local garage. The guy has taken 4 months now and still hasn't finished because he's apparently "to busy"...and to make matters worse my car was one of seven broken into last night. They smashed my passenger window and took my headset, 2 subs, amp and over 100 cds. I hope they somehow get enough crack from all the stuff they stole to overdose on and die...anyway I need a new passenger side window for a 96 accord coupe. I looked on ebay and searched on google and I can't seem to find any...trying to steer clear of going to the dealership if I can...any help would be appreciated.

is the shop liable or do they have a "not responsible" sign?

to take 4 months for a swap is plain ridicules. u need to go in there and demand your car back if it's going to take that long. as far as i know they might have broken into ur car themselves

Yeah, thats what I've said for a while now (we're friends)... my dad said it best... he owns a construction company, and if he took 4 months on a one week job, he would get sued and end up having to pay the homeowners... It shouldnt be much different in the mechanic business.

dawg, if it was broken into at the shop, THEY have to pay for it, we had insurance for such events at ours. if its in their possesion they have to pay for it

the window shouldnt cost more than 100-150 or so including install, mine was smashed too and thats how much it cost me. they window guy drove to my house too. BTW, doesnt matter if the fools big, he needs to take responsibility, 4 months is BS, its probably too damn hard for him and hes procrastinating. hes basically defecating on you for telling he's "too busy"

You need to talk to a lawyer NOW. Whether insurance covers it or not, it should not be in the shop that long so it should have never been broken into. Get a lawyer.

I went down to the shop today... its been almost two weeks since he promised me he'd finish my car. I pulled up at 6, right as the shop was closing and he is sitting in a 91 h22 accord. The 91 has been at the shop for one week and when it arrived it was a mess, wires tore up, hoses wrong, just in pieces. Today the car is running and my car is STILL sitting in the corner with a broken window and no harness or anything. Before I attempted the swap I tried the h22/f22 frankenstein, it took seriously 6 months for me to finally give up on it because he never got a part that was necessary for the completion of that swap, so I sold the head and bought the h22. Anyways... he says he'll try to do it this weekend, when I asked why my car wasnt being worked on he got an attitude with me as I was in the wrong. I've contacted my attorney and plan on doing something about this on monday. But heres the problem, the harnesses have been tampered with so I cannot send them to hasport. I'm going to attempt the wiring myself with a couple friends who know hondas also helping me. I need help with some really detailed wiring though because I know this is going to be difficult. Can any of you help me out? I'm going from an obdII LX to a 93 obdI H22 (I already have the ecu conversion harness) Maybe someone out there has a harness taken from a h22 accord or something. Anyone have exact diagrams on how to do this? I'm sorry for this extremely long post but this has got to end, its been close to a year that I havent had a running car and I could use all the help I can get. Thanks for taking time to respond.
