Default Body Color B64-P...Fade?

Hi, I have a '92 Si, the interior marker that indicates the body color says B64-P, I did some research and it's called Fresco Blue Pearl. The only thing is that in the sample that I saw Fresco Blue Pearl looks much darker than the blue on my prelude. Mine looks almost more metallic, and lighter, but it still looks great (and everyone i know compliments the color often) and I was wondering if anybody with this color knows if this paint had a tendancy to fade (the paint may just be faded, there's even a small spot on the back window where the clearcoat has just started to peel).

I was considering having my car repainted but I love the color it is right now, and I don't know If I want to have it repainted and be a lot darker. Whether I repaint it or not, there are some chips in the bumper and in the door from road gravel and stuff, and I didn't want to use touch-up paint that wasn't right either.

I'm fairly sure the car has never been repainted, but I'm just curious if anyone else knows about this.

Yes the that color fades its impossible to match it when in an accident or replacing a fender trunk ect. If your going to get it painted I would stick with the stock color it looks awsome with a freshpaint job color is great and rare

I have that color of lude also and just had it repainted and the color looked COMPLETELY different than the original color because of severe fading Heres a before and after pic....

Looks 100 times better with fresh paint

i actually like sabbotages new paint job. don't think it looks that bad. I would try and keep your car covered if your really worried about the paint fading. It's going to fade regardless unless you keep it covered and take care of it.

I was really impressed with the color difference after it got painted. Plus it cost me under 1000 bucks for it all
