Default right hand JDM console in a USDM left hand EF??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What the #&*%@!? I bought this stupid thing for more than it is worth, guy said it should fit. "should".......
Well of course it doesn't, didn't think it would-bought it was worht the money if it did.

So best I can tell, the floor console needs to move to the passenger's side about an inch. Eithe4r that or it will need some modding. I know this is going to be a pain and am shure that I will be Dremeling something to ake this work. But if any one has had any luck putting this type of console in(the one form Japan with the ash try on the right and the storage bin below it)PLEASE put up some freakin pics!!!!!

you would need the dashboard to match then all sorts of other stuff to convert it to RHD.... pretty dumb move just to have one more jdm part in your car. do some research first next time.

Pretty dumb reply considering he's not even talking about converting his car to RHD. Read and comprehend the post before attempting to answer next time.

thats not his point.

the console for a rhd is directed towards the right and vice-versa for the lhd console. i would try modding the parts off the console onto your usdm one. thats the best idea I got...at least you'll get what you wanted right

-or-

i dont think theres anything you can do here. at least you know you were had. try and sell that piece im sure somebody wants it.

well if hes not planning on doing a RHD conversion, why would he buy a RHD center console.
the only reason i brought up the conversion was because for the console to fit, you would need the dash and for the dash to fit, you would need to do a RHD conversion. besides, why would you want a rhd console... if you do get it to work then the passenger has control of your radio.
