okay all these threads about high school rides or your still in college ride or whatever.....anybody else out there putting somthing together with no job......

retired....maybe trust fund baby.... Mom or Dad footing the bill....or whatever your source of money...if you have no "real "Job and still get it done with your ride...post that up....

by the way...im a "stay at home dad" (my boy is 4) and work on Honda/Acura in my home garage for all the rich kids here at the beach too keep my ride going.......lets me surf all day...

junior in high school in search of a job.

 

Worked full time through High School to get my 02' WRX.


Lady decides she hates it and damn near kills my brother (back passenger side seat) while destroying the WRX.


Used half the money from insurance to buy the lude, quit work, and am now using the rest of the money to live while I finish up getting my B.S.

 

sucks what happened to ur wrx. at least u r stilll alive. good luck in everything.

**Edit: for got to mention that I worked 2yrs to buy the car and get it where it's at now.

damn your car is low. how do you manage to get over speed bumps? before my car was lowered i was only able to go over small speed bumps. now that it's lowered i try to dodge them all because i always scratch something going over. i tried that angle thing but that doesn't seem to work with the height my car is at.

hahaha that's a great one. i like that. seriously though ... do you scratch something underneath whenever you go over the speed bumps? does the angle technique of going over work for you?

 

When I had the CF Lip, I went over zero speedbumps... just because I know what would happen. With the ITR Lip, the angling method works... just depends on what kind of speedbump. Even with the ITR Lip, I hardly go over any speedbumps, 'cause I hate them, lol.

heres my ride.. dad paid for half my car and the rest i payed for. no job still looking.

 

i hate it when i absolutely have to go over one. sometimes when there's no other cars i just turn around and find another way through.

I paid for everything on my car... slammed 1991 Prelude, CF hood, turbocharged. Every penny from my job, for the shell itself down to the damn o-rings for my injectors.
