two screws man. take em out.
look around the door for the fronts. maybe you missed those.
take the cargo cover off to see the rears.

I don't know what you're doing wrong, but mine were easier than hell to replace.

there are 2 screws in them at the fartest part twards the front of the car. take those out and then pop the clips out of thier positions on the top and bottom of the piece. it should then slide out twards the front of the car

liek everyone says...take out the two screws.
then use a smallish flathead screwdriver to push back the 4 clips holding the top and bottom in. just probe around, it should be easy to figure out where they are. once all 4 tabs are out, and the screws removed, slide towards the front of the vehicle. if they dont come out, youve got issues.
post a pic maybe?
