Hi, I'm new to the forums, and have a '92 Prelude with the H23, and lately I've seen the Apex'i S-AFC/VAFC a lot and I've been considering one. If I were to have it properly Dyno tuned to maximum power gains throughout the band, about how much power could I hope to gain?

Hopefully someone out there could give me some numbers, thanks!

(By the way, I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, the FAQ post only mentioned VAFC controllers for VTEC engines, did not mention H23)

umm maybe 5-6 horses and same for torque depending what yur mods are...there was a dynp maybe like a month back and made pretty nice gains....any1 know where that thread went?

 

i made around 6 hp out of it

i made 11...but i ahve a 91, and it seems honda was sandbagging on the 3rd gens...


i found this...the more mods you ahe done to the breating system the more the gain...so ay you got a big Throttle Body and maybe, cams and IHE...well its gonna do more for that guy than it will for teh stock luder...and if you get an safc first tehn IHE and stuff you can always go back in and redial it in
