Who's exhaust smells like rotten eggs?
My exhaust setup consists of the following:
'99 Prelude
2.5" Downpipe
3" Flex Pipe
3" Carsound High Flow Cat
3" Mandral Bent Catback Exhaust
Magnaflow Muffler
I'm sure some of you have the same problem I do. A lot of times at a stop light I get that rotten egg smell. I was hoping that since I went with a high flow cat instead of a test pipe I wouldn't have a problem. Do you guys have this problem with high flow cats as well? Any solutions?

Mine smells like roses.
My old 92 CX used to get a nasty sulfur smell every now and then. No idea why it did it. I'm running pretty much the same setup on my EM1 now that you are and I haven't smelled anything abnormal.

not 100% whatsoever, but i thought an egg type smell had something to do with the EGR system.. dont quote me on it though.. just throwing it out there.. good luck.
Mine smells like sulfur. I know for a fact I WAS running rich, now I just need to get a test pipe and remove my cat. I ran really rich for way too long.
I was told by at a muffler shop that when you get a rotten egg smell. the car is to rich and possibly the converter has went bad.
Most likely your cat converter is ****....
Go check it please before you break something else...
When the cat gets mess up you will know by a nasty smell or might be something else but most of the time you got a blow cat. Don't take my word for it but make sure!

It can also be from a bach of fuel with an exceptionally high sulfur content. Run the tank almost empty and change brands. See what happens.

my exhaust smelled like sulphur(or rotten eggs) then it stoppped
reason
cause i blew my cat out completly, its clean nothing left
running rich does that... not good for cats
but i have a great test pipe now, looks just like a cat. the diameter change isnt optimal but for cop issues it should help a bit
