My sound kinda gay, But does anyone know anyone selling a dual sport?
I know the modern saying is "pick a sport, blah blah blah". But im looking for a nice dual sport for a good price. Its been a few years since ive ridden and i started off on a dual sport as a kid and it was obnoxious fun. Id take it to the dessert on the weekends and drive like an ******* during the week. Im starting school soon and im selling my integra and getting it for cheap fun and a ride. So if anyone knows someone let me know. perferably honda or a yamaha.
Thanks
Thanks
theres nothing gay about a dual sport, i know some pretty badass riders on both street bikes and dirt that have dual sport bikes.

Guilty pleasure. I was kinda wanting to get a setup like that going. I saw a guy who had the baja designs dualsport setup on crf400 and it was tearing it up.

Getting a dual sport would deffinatly be a healthy choice for a second bike for me. especially the Suzuki DR-Z400SM, Good luck in your search for one.
i would love a dualsport... jeez esp with some winter tires in albany... i would throw on a 1-peice and have a ball on nights it snows...
i love the look of dual sports, but i know nothing about them. like i get the idea dual sport: able to be driven on and offroad. ok then what are the pro's and con's?

i guess the thing you have to realize about a dual sport is that its a good compromise and not great at anything. meaning its too heavy to motocross and wont have good dirt tires for loose sand, but will be ok on trails. suspension is a compromise too.

Its like the car in the video games that doesnt have very high attributes, But thier all even. There are lots of sites that you can look up "dual sport diets" I.E, Desert tank, Flushmount lighting(blinkers, brakelight), New head light, Plastic, And a plate minuser(sp?) Ive seen some people save up to about 20=30 pounds on a bike wich is pretty insane(xr600l) But if you really are going to do alot off offroading dual sports are great for desert riding if you tweak the suspension along with rims and tires. Sure it gets expensive. But then you would have an insane rig that could take the daily abuse of riding on the freeway and what not. And not have to buy new rings all the time. Let alone pistons.
