Default CRX shift linkage problems

Iv had this problem since i got the car, its damn near impossiable to put the car in 1st, 2nd,5th,and Reverse. Then i installed a short shifter and it made it twice as hard to put into gear now....

i wanted to know if someone could get underneith there car and take a pix of the shift linkage. it would help alot.

and what shift linkage am i supposted to use with a d16y8 swapped into a crx with an si tranny? The car is a DX, so maybe i need the Si linkage?

Thanks for any help...

Nope, your stock linkage will work fine, but yours could be bent.

Hmm, I dont remember why we did it like that. But now that you mention it I remember doing that, I do not remember why, I beleive teh linkage was bent somehow... I dont know for sure though, its been along time..

Well honestly I sold the car for a killer *** price so I dont want to hear any ****. I didnt remember it as I have not even touched the car in months.

Had MSD dizzy cap, blaster coil, 6a box, SI transmission, D16Y8 block, ZC pistons, Z6 head, skunk 2 cam gear, B&M FPR, w/guage, autometer 5 inch tach, all of which was just rebuilt, y8 intake manifold, centerforce clutch, lightened flywheel, HX wheels.

I could of parted it out and made my money back plus some.

The motor had like 3 miles on it, runs strong,

So anyway,
