A couple of weeks ago i took my car to the mountain and being the novice driver I am, I kind of burned up my clutch by riding it too much and now it's been smelling off and on constantly every time I take the car up to high RPM. My clutch seems to be fine, it doesn't slip or anything, but the smell is worrying me. Is this normal or should I have it checked out?? Also if I go to the dealer and have an AEM intake, will it void my warranty??
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys and have a happy new year.

Yes, be worried, be very worried.
Too bad I don't have a picture of my SHREDDED clutch and warped flywheel after some spirited driving at the track. I mean MILD.
If you smell it, it is bad. Go aftermarket if you could, otherwise try to get it taken care of under warranty.

I don't think they can void your warranty because you have a CAI. I'm pretty sure it is illegal for them to void your warranty unless they can prove that your CAI somehow contributed to your clutch dying, which I very much doubt.
I'd be worried about that smell though.

I kinda had the same thing happen...I was trying to show my friend how I could start the car from 3rd gear. Right after that, I successfully tried 4th hahaha...my car smelled like tranny fluid for 2 weeks. It went away and everything was fine...
