LS VTEC swap parts list complete?
I have the head. b16a1 JDM Integra 92-95 XSI port/polished and milled.
I have a b18b1 USDM Integra 96 block.
I have a stock ls tranny with a ACT stage 2 clutch and Fidanza lightened flywheel.(I highly recommend the flywheel)
I am a newby so please exercise caution when replying, thank you.
What do I need. Please add to my list of whatever I am missing and recommend brands and places where to pick up these parts. I use ebay and I can drive anywhere from San Diego to L.A. My zip is 92591.
<U>So here is what I have.</U>
1.b16a1 head(ready to fit onto b18b1 block stock cam and cam gears)
3.ls tranny w/ stage 2 clutch and racing lightened flywheel
4.eagle one vtec oil converter kit which comes with the the line from oil converter to head, bolts and screws and all of that good stuff
5.vtec solenoid
6.head gasket for swap(the shop game this one when I bought the head so I'm not sure what type it is, they just said it would work
<U>ok here's what I want or think I need.</U>
1.p28 obd1
2.mugen or jun real* chip
3.wiring harness for obd1 to obd2
4.new fuel pump b18c
5.new water pump b18c
6.ls or gsr timing belt?
7.b18c head bolts(I have the b16 ones if anyone wants to trade)
8.do i need new rod bolts?
9.do i need Dowel Pins?(Golden Eagle)
10. b16 or b18 header(shop recommended 4-1 DC sports for clearance reasons do you agree?)
11.AEM short ram b16 or b18? vtec or non?
(My budget is 1000, give or take, my girl might get less Chirstmas gifts this year
other questions.
1.Do you recommend cutting of one leg off my ls MSD disributor(blaster coil set the one that cost 500 dollars is all I know) for fitment? Or should I buy one to fit?
I still have ls stock disto too.
2.What should the next ugrade be after chipped ecu, intake, and header?
3.do I need a knock sensor? or will my integ run on chipped p28 no knock sensor(I know I won't be smog legal and I live in so cal but funk it ya know, a racer's got ta do what a racer's got ta do.
I am eager to do this swap and I have the head and the dough to buy the rest of the shiznit, please take your time and answer my post thouroghly. Thank you so much.

you have to use an LS head gasket so make sure the one you have is not for anything but an LS...

-B series VTEC head
-VTEC ECU
-B series VTEC dist
-90-01 LS head gasket
-94-01 GS-R head bolts
-94-01 GS-R timing belt
-94-01 GR-R knock sensor***
- -4 braided steel lines 22in. with female ends
-1/8" NPT female to 1/8" NPT female to 1/8" BSPT male on run pipe tee
-1/8" NPT male to -4 male straight adapter
-3/8" NPT male to -4 male straight adapter
-1/8" internal pipe plug
-1/8" NPT pipe tap
-3/8" NPT pipe tap
-14mm drill bit
-10.9mm drill bit
-12mmX1.25mm tap
***if you use Hondata you do not need to drill and tap the block for a knock sensor.
-so depending on which route you go you may need a knock sensor.
-also you can not use an LS dist. it mounts differently than a VTEC dist. along with the section that is used for timing/rotating i believe is also different.
-ARP rod bolts would be a great investment since they are considered the peak link in the LS/VTEC
-and which head bolts do you have cause the Civic Si head bolts will also work...

yes, you need the dowel pins from GE...also i highly recommend buying a crank girdle...it will help you out in the long run with high revs...thats just if you have the funds to buy one...there was one on here forsale not too long ago for the ls block...
