I know some of you guys were talking a while ago about buying AC Hydaulic Jacks. I was wonder if anybody bought one and if you like it so far? Where did you get it from and how much? Also the smaller jack only lifts 20 inches, is that enough to get the car up on jack stands to drop the tranny? Thanks

the items are out of stock (expected in Feb 02) and the drop shipments to
individual locations by the importer has been poor. The only way I would
consider doing that price again would be if all jacks shipped to one person
and he distributed to members of his group. Steve"

So looks like we need to find someone else to do the $189.00

these guys are offering the jack for $189 (no group buy required). i haven't researched this very far, but i'm buying one on the 7th (credit card statement rollover). they are in ct so i'll save on the shipping too!

poop, well the jacks were $189 with their "holiday sale." i would guess the sale is now over. the price is now up $34 to $219. i think i just might call them tomorrow and see if i can still get a deal. if not, i'm in for any group buy but i don't want to wait more than 2-3 weeks.
