That's an old pic, I remember seeing another pic that showed a small (well not that small) black mark on the road, in other words, to much gas a little to early.

He probably got on the gas to early, the tail kicked out so he chopped the throttle and high sided.
Basically, that's what happens when increasing speed meets decreasing talent.

i don't see what's so funny about another biker going down. he's probably wearing as much gear as the majority of us wear on the streets and he's not doing any stunts, so i don't see how he's being a squid. maybe other than trying to drag his knee with jeans on.

Because if I fell, I would laugh at myself. That makes me qualified to laugh at others.
As for the squid debate, at first glance he isn't doing anything squidly. Just a dude out enjoying a nice corner, nothing wrong with that. However, the presence of a cameraman changes everything. *If* he knows that guy, then I am sorry, having a friend hang out on a corner and take pictures of you leaned over is galactically squidly..................and gay.
The chances of just anyone hanging out on that corner and snapping the pictures, although possible, seems improbable.
