Tons of threads on this. Also a very flammable topic

Proper choice depends on how much other stuff you want to do (header, exhaust, fuel management, internals, valvetrain...).

Every as there own different opinion on these cams. They are all good companies. Myself I have the Toda spec B and I like them. There is an on going debate on weither Toda is better then Jun but I guess they are fairly similar.

I think to have some precise answers you might went to clarify your question a little bit. What exactly are you looking to obtain and what are your actual modifications on your car ?

go here for specs https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=84317 - what kinda cams do you want? drag, mild race? what car do you have (ITR?) what other mods - many high lift, high duration need a significant increase in compression (ie JDM ITR, CTR, or endyn pistons) don't forget to upgrade the valvetrain as well. I settled on spoons for my GSR (I don't drag, just autoX), I am not too interested in peak hp as much as I am in midrange, which is why I am getting a spoon header to with my mugen twin loop. + spoon cams are made by honda for spoon using the same unground cores as CTR cams...eventually I wanna upgrade to CTR pistons but the install runs (labor) about $700-800 (I got 94 octane gas too! ) use the search function to look for dyno plots of cams you are interested in

lock this ***** up

Personally, I like to take the stock cams and just use duct tape and tin foil to make the lobes more aggressive. Works great!

For what they are, stock ITR cams give awesome performance.
Most of the cams out there cost an arm and a leg.. and the HP per dollar is never really that great.

I'd concentrate on compression and intake/exhaust breathing first.

You'd be surprised what stock cams can do with 11.5-12.1:1 compression and some fine tuning.

But to play devils advocate, Jack.. JUN is the only way to go

Sorry, had to do it!

Neither Toda or JUN cams are "the ****" You can get better power out of a nice set of muffler bearings anyday.. and for much less $$!!

Hell, I run LS cams in my B18C, works nicely.

thread.. should.. be.. locked.

Cool! Someone else knows the muffler bearing mod You'd know this - where can I order frequency grease online?

Try here for all your hi-performance needs, not sure if they have the frequency grease but you could try emailing them about it. http://www.kalecoauto.com
