Default CAT CHANGE OR NOT??

Hi guys,
this might be one of the most common question ever, but i do need help, hope you guys can help me.

i had a 2001 GSR and i changed my to the 5-zigen catback system with dc sports headers. i don't mind the loudness of the car, but i'm finding i'm using more gas with a race resonator. the resonator only have one slot for the oxygen sensor. what is the horsepower difference if i change it back to the stock one? is it worth the change?

I think you mean the cat. not the resonator. The resonator isn't supposed to have an o2 sensor plugged in.

there will be some loss of power since the stock cat is so restrictive. have you considered buying a high flow cat? carsound cats flow almost as well as test pipes and put out similar numbers. there also could be a number of other things are giving you bad gas mileage, not necessarily your resonated test pipe...
